At D1 Shortlist, we specialize in creating college-ready highlight films that get players noticed—and recruited. Your highlight film is the number one factor college coaches use to decide who makes their shortlist and ultimately, who gets offered a scholarship. In today’s recruiting world, coaches are making decisions based almost entirely on your film. That’s why it has to be clean, professional, and position-specific.

1
Over Two Decades of Insider Knowledge
Since 1998, we’ve been working directly with college recruiters across all positions to understand exactly what they’re looking for on film. Using that knowledge, we build custom highlight reels that showcase your skills in the right order, the right pace, and the right way.
This isn’t just a highlight video—it’s your D1 résumé.
Let us help you get on the radar, get on the shortlist, and get the scholarship.
2
Built for Recruiters — Designed for Deals
In today’s college football landscape, a professionally crafted highlight film is more than just a tool for recruitment—it’s the cornerstone of your athletic and personal brand. With the advent of NIL opportunities, athletes are not only vying for scholarships but also for lucrative endorsement deals.
Top college football players have secured NIL valuations in the multimillion-dollar range—some, like Arch Manning, reaching as high as $6.5 million.
3
Your First Impression Matters
These opportunities often begin with a coach’s first impression—your highlight film.
A poorly produced video can hinder your chances of being noticed, while a clean, professional, and position-specific reel can put you in front of recruiters and sponsors alike.
Investing in a high-quality highlight film is investing in your future—opening doors to both athletic scholarships and substantial NIL deals.
